An English Version Of Lineage 2: Revolution Is Launching Next Month

A new English website for Lineage 2: Revolution appeared the other day, the first step towards releasing Lineage 2: Revolution globally. You may remember that Netmarble promised to launch a proper community site with the release of the latest update, but I don't think that anyone expected an English site to come with it.

But the new English site isn't the only news. An English version of Lineage 2: Revolution will be launching next month. Unfortunately, it seems that the English version will initially be available exclusively in Southeast Asia. You can gain access to pre-registration and name reservations on the official website, but only if you are either in Southeast Asia or connect to the website using a VPN. Otherwise, you will be taken to a site that simply says "coming soon," implying that it will one day reach your region, but not quite yet.

Lineage 2: Revolution has seen a stunning amount of success, making a total of $41 million in its first two weeks online. I imagine that Netmarble has high expectations for the game's overseas releases, but I also imagine that there is currently high demand for the game.

Netmarble has yet to confirm details such as whether the English release will play on the same servers as the Korean release. Furthermore, while the English release seems to be a Southeast Asia exclusive for the time being, I have no doubt that the APK will be on Qoo App on day one.
