Fractured Online is back in business as the Kickstarted MMORPG officially relaunches into Early Access on Steam. It was initially scheduled to launch at 7 a.m. PDT earlier today but was pushed back to 10 a.m. PDT to give more players, especially those on the West Coast, the chance to jump in as soon as the servers came online.

The game first popped up on MMORPG fans’ radars when it was Kickstarted for $130,000 back in 2018. It was then snapped up by Gamigo in the latter months of 2021 when it acquired the IP rights for the game from Dynamight Studios. The partnership, however, didn’t last after financial challenges and mass layoffs forced the German publisher to pawn off several of their live service games.

After parting ways with Gamigo, Dynamight Studios pulled Fractured Online back into closed development for major overhauls where it’s remained until earlier today. To celebrate the relaunch, the studio is offering a 20% discount on the base founder’s pack and the Steam version throughout the entire launch week.

Players can also expect various changes from the final playtest, include sweeping buffs to armor defense and durability, increased monster damage, shorter crafting and gathering times, along with a host of other balance changes and improvements. Details can be found in the relaunch patch notes here.
