Last Oasis Adds A New Cargo Walker, A New Map, And Plans To Introduce Beta Test Branch Soon

Since Last Oasis launched in March, the game has been regularly updated with new zones for nomads to explore and new walkers to help them traverse the post-apocalyptic landscape. Last week’s update saw the addition of a new cargo walker called the Panda. The Panda Walker is capable of carrying up to five walkers of any type except another Panda Walker. This week, developer Donkey Crew has added in the new Volcanyon zone, which as you can probably deduce from the name, has both volcanic and canyon features combined.

Donkey Crew has also announced their plans to introduce a Beta Branch which will allow players to test out future updates and give the developers valuable feedback before the new features make it to the live game. “As of now, we're mainly considering the Beta Branch as the testing ground for the Commerce Update and all the core game changes that are coming with it,” says Donkey Crew. “The idea is that we'll continue iterating on those changes within the Beta Branch until they're fully ready and then put them all together on the main branch in the end.” The studio promises to share more details later today.
