NetEase And Square Enix Announce Joint Development Of Rebellious Million Arthur

Million Arthur is a fairly large franchise in Asia. The Square Enix-published series of mobile games has even received manga and web anime spin-offs. That being said, the series has gained almost no traction here in the West. In fact, neither of the series' games that have been released are available on the North American Google Play store. The third game in the series, which translates to "Rebellious Million Arthur," was announced today and there are a few surprises in store for existing fans of the series.

It turns out that Rebellious Million Arthur is being co-developed by Square Enix and Chinese tech giant NetEase. Furthermore, in going with Square Enix's more recent mobile releases, the game will be the first in the series to feature a real-time combat system and a multiplayer battle mode.

Not much else is known about the title at this time, but those that are interested and have access to a Chinese cell phone can pre-register for the game on the official website.
