New World’s Rise Of The Angry Earth Expansion Is Now Live With A New Trailer
New World’s first-ever paid expansion, Rise of the Angry Earth, is now live with a brand new adventure awaiting Aeternum’s adventurers. As previously revealed, the expansion has drastically changed the First Light starting zone, which is now a lush zone inhabited by ferocious beasts.
“First Light has fallen. Once a welcoming place for newcomers to Aeternum, the fields have been ravaged by the fury of the Angry Earth. No one is certain what has become of the people and villages that once populated the area, and a deadly barrier has kept all but the most intrepid from attempting to find out. This abundance of earthly powers has awakened the mighty Beast Lords, a new possible adversary facing the people of Aeternum…”
Rise of the Angry Earth also introduced the long-awaited mount system which ties in with the lore surrounding the Beast Lords, along with the new Savage Divide expedition, Flail weapons, new gear, and a level cap increase to 65. The expansion also marked the start of Season 3, revamped the Great Cleave and Edengrove questlines, and removed several expertise options.
