New World Dives Into Rise Of The Angry Earth’s New Savage Divide Expedition
We’re now less than a week away until New World’s upcoming Rise of the Angry Earth expansion hits the live servers. As previously revealed, the long-awaited first expansion will change the Aeternum landscape as the starting zone of First Light is transformed into the Elysian Wilds by a vengeful Adiana.
The new zone will be infested by Adiana’s army of Angry Earth minions and will feature new enemies, new points-of-interest, new quests, and new challenges, including a new Expedition called The Savage Divide.
“The powers of Artemis flourish within these caverns of stone and ancient root. Embark on a dangerous new Level 62+ Expedition to track down the primordial Beast Lords before pandemonium emerges from the depths of Aeternum. The elemental chaos of the Savage Divide awaits.”
The Savage Divide will pit players against a mammoth beast lord and a variety of new beast-type creatures. It will feature new creature-focused combat mechanics and multiple paths to completion, which the developers dive into in a new Forged in Aeternum episode.
“Mahantaram, the Mammoth Lord, has retreated into madness in the Savage Divide. A sinister mist and unsettling spores pour forth from the mouth of the cavern. As the days go on the howls of the beasts within grow louder and more deranged. The enraged Beast Lords pose a terrible threat to the population of Aeternum if not contained.”
