Pax Dei Launches Into Early Access This Spring With A ‘Single Purchase’ Box Price

Mainframe Industries is now putting the final touches on Pax Dei as it prepares for the social sandbox MMO’s early access launch. That’s happening sometime this spring as the team confirmed in their latest dev blog.

As with most early access releases, the studio is hoping to get continuous feedback as it works to bring their vision for the game to life. “In a sense, the recent alpha was the first time we saw the game we’re making,” Mainframe said. “The feedback we’ve received is invaluable in making sure we’re going in the right direction, knowing how to improve what we already have, and deciding what to build next. Going into early access will allow us to get that feedback loop going permanently.”

The studio also confirmed that the early access version will come with a “single purchase” box price, the proceeds of which will be reinvested into the MMO’s development to make it “bigger and better.” They’ve yet to lock in a definite launch date, but fans can look forward to another alpha test before the fact.
