The hallowed holiday of Halloween is almost upon us and Riders of Icarus is not one to be left out of the festivities. A new blog post details the events that will be going live later this month in celebration of the holiday, as well as new content that will be added this month.

Here's what Nexon America has planned for the month of October.

  • The Giant Pumpkin Hunt will have players looking for giant pumpkins, which they can take down for a chance at "fun rewards."
  • The Mysterious Headless Knight, who goes "bump in the dungeon," will roam "the dungeons of Hakanas" looking for his missing head. Players that find him will have a chance at "some spooktacular rewards," as well as the chance to tame his "ghostly" mount.
  • The Pumpkin Candy Chase will have players looking for candy dropped by mobs. This candy can be exchanged for rewards at a certain NPC, who is a collector of such candies.
  • Legendary versions of the Carleon Manor, Lavalight Cave, and Ruins of the Matren dungeons will be introduced. These are "tailored specifically for only the most experienced Riders," offering "highly desired treasures" to those who dare to take on the challenge.
  • A new raid dungeon known as "the Gustling Isle" will finally give players a chance to take on the Titan Tranua, the rock golem-like Titan that we've seen in several promotional images.

It seems that the month of October will be quite a busy one for Riders of Icarus. If you're still playing the game, be sure to let us know what you're looking forward to most this month in the comments!
