Riders Of Icarus Is Getting Play-To-Earn Mechanics In Partnership With WeMix

Valofe Global is jumping on the blockchain bandwagon as the South Korean publisher announces its plans to introduce play-to-earn mechanics in Riders of Icarus. Players will be rewarded with Rania Token and will be able to trade them through the WeMix blockchain gaming platform.

The mount-focused MMORPG was extremely popular when it first launched in the west back in 2016, counting over a million players just two months after its open beta release. Whether going play-to-earn will be enough to save the game and restore it to its former glory is anyone’s guess.
