Rose Online is back from the grave through the efforts of its new publisher Rednim Games. The game originally launched back in 2005 and had a pretty solid run before it went into maintenance mode in 2016 and ultimately shut down in 2019. It was later picked up by Rednim Games who promised to revive the cult classic MMORPG under their banner, which brings us to today.

Rose Online has officially launched into early access on PC and is free-to-play but features a cosmetics-only cash shop for those who want to travel the virtual world in style. Rednim didn’t say how long the game will remain in early access but they did explain the need for an early access release even though the game is already more than a decade old.

“As most of you are well aware, there are issues with the game that have been here for more than a decade or two,” said Rednim. “As a team with limited resources, we’re not in a position to create a ‘perfect’ vision then implement it in the traditional alpha/beta/release model.”

The game is now available for download on the official site if you want to check it out.
