Tower Of Fantasy Reduces Queue Times And Catches Its First Batch Of Cheaters

It’s more than likely that not all of the 3 million or so pre-registered players actually played Tower of Fantasy since it launched last week, but enough of them did which unsurprisingly resulted in extremely long queue times. According to PCGamer, the longest wait time so far has been one hour and 45 minutes on the Anomora European server.

To cut down on the waiting time, Hotta Studios has increased the server cap and improved its server recommendation logic to help encourage players to join less populated servers. The studio has also improved the accuracy of its queue time estimated to better inform players of just exactly what they’re in for. These changes are now live on PC and will be coming to the mobile version soon.

The developers will also be rolling out improvements to the gacha MMORPG’s anti-cheat system and will be announcing the corresponding punishments for the first batch of players that were caught using cheats. Meanwhile, the game is still being plagued by visual glitches and blank pop-up error windows, both of which are now on the list of known issues to be fixed.

“We have received a large number of Wanderers' feedback and suggestions since the official launch, and we are now working to address the problems that you encountered,” Hotta Studios said.
