World Of Warcraft Celebrates Pirate's Day

It's that time of year again, when #TalkiLikeAPirateDay trends on Twitter and World of Warcraft celebrates swashbuckling adventurers with an in-game event. Head to Booty Bay in Stranglethorn Vale (easiest way to get there for new players is to take the portal to Karahzan underneath Dalaran and fly south), and talk to Dread Captain DeMeza.

If you take a swig with the captain she'll transform you into a pirate for 10 hours, and if you accept her quest to collect 33 Razor-Sharp Shark Teeth you'll earn 5 Emergency Pirate Outfits ("For the other 364 days of the year").

Unfortunately, the area is swarming with players looking for sharks. I couldn't manage one kill in my short time there. But I'm happy just playing pirate for today. Maybe next year I'll get lucky and adorn myself with some shark teeth.
