Black Desert Online's "Land of The Morning Light" Expansion Launching Worldwide on June 14

Black Desert Online's first major expansion for 2023 is launching on June 14 and is titled "Land of the Morning Light". The update takes players through a new region and has an emphasis on a strong non-linear story with 80 cutscenes and 6,000+ voiced over lines. The emphasis on storytelling is new for Black Desert.

The new area will feature unique bosses, customized difficulty levels, and totally new landscapes based on Korean medieval era architecture, mythology, and culture. New class awakenings are coming too with the first launching on May 31st for the Woosa with the Maegu's launching in June.

As for the customized difficulty levels, players will be able to take on bosses in a new mode called "Black Desert Boss Blitz" which allows players to set difficulty levels between calamity 1 - 10 with top scores based on speed of clears.

To celebrate the upcoming launch of the expansion, Pearl Abyss is offering a special bundle in game for $49.99 which includes $102.50 worth of cash shop goodies.
