Holiday festivities are now in full swing in Blade and Soul as the Winter Soulstice update hits the live servers. As you might have guessed from the update name, Winter Soulstice brings a whole host of winter-themed events and rewards as well as some early gifts for PvP enthusiasts – the new Dawnsmite Gloves and Sunseeker Bracelet.

With the arrival of these new high-tier accessories, the transformation cost to obtain lower-tier gloves and bracelets have been adjusted and the “Red Dragon Crux” requirement for formulas has been removed. Additionally, the upgrade costs for Grand Celestial and Thornbreaker Weapons have also been reduced.

As for this year’s holiday events, the Winter Wonders Festival and Winter Treasures are now live and will be running side by side until January 19th. Players will be able to earn snowballs by completing daily quests, daily challenges, and from login rewards as part of the Winter Wonders Festival. Snowballs can be used to craft carrots, buttons, and branches which can then be exchanged for a Snowman, which in turn can be used to spin the Wheel of Fate in Northreach once per day. Spin the wheel at least 15 times during the event to earn additional rewards from the Winter Treasures event.

Event details along with a full rundown of the update’s contents can be found in the full release notes on the Blade and Soul official site.
