Darkfall: Rise Of Agon Has Officially Launched, OriginPC Hosting Launch Giveaway
Today is the day that Big Picture Games' resurrection of the classic Darkfall experience, Darkfall: Rise of Agon, officially launches. It's a fairly momentous occasion, as the game beat its competitor-but-not-really Darkfall: New Dawn to the market.
Darkfall: Rise of Agon, unlike Darkfall: New Dawn, is looking to retain Darkfall's original mechanics. It boasts the same seamless open world, skill-based action combat, free looting open PvP, player-driven economy, and city building that Darkfall had.
You can download the client via the store now. It is a subscription game that costs $9.99 per month, with discounts for purchasing in bulk. A 10% discount on all subscriptions and Nithron Coin purchases was supposed to run until today, but it seems to still be available for the time being.
