Elite: Dangerous just released its newest update, and it’s a doozy! Update 15 is now live, bringing a whole host of seriously new features to the first-person space sci-fi MMORPG.

First up, there’s a new mission that has players sneaking around on foot, trying to repower settlements that have been taken over by the Thargoids. It’s a stealthy, tense experience that will have you on the edge of your seat.

If that’s not enough excitement for you, there’s also a new Thargoid pulse neutralizer module that lets you fly deeper into maelstroms, where you might just encounter new enemy ship types in the form of the Thargoid Revenant and Thargoid Glaive.

The update also includes a ton of fixes and quality-of-life improvements. They’ve fixed reactivation missions, teammate navlock problems, Thargoid AI behavior, and server-side errors. And that’s not all – the game’s UI has also gotten a makeover. The system map now stacks multiple fleet carriers and shows them as points of interest, so you can easily see what services each carrier offers. Planet data has also been rearranged into more “sensical” locations on the right side of the screen, and there’s a new consumables list in the suit loadout panel.

If you’re curious about all the changes, you can check out the full Update 15 release notes on the Elite Dangerous website.
