Monster Hunter World & The Witcher 3 Crossover PC Event Goes Live On May 9th
Can’t get enough of game crossover events? Well, here’s a new one for all you PC players out there. Geralt of The Witcher series will be setting up shop in Astera when the Monster Hunter World / The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt crossover event goes live on May 9th. PlayStation 4 and Xbox One players were given the chance to participate in this event back in February.
“In this collaboration, the main protagonist of the Witcher series, Geralt of Rivia, makes an appearance in the New World! Play as Geralt of Rivia and take on a new special assignment! Go on a quest containing RPG elements from "The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt," and solve mysteries as an expert monster slayer for hire!”
Starting May 9th, players will be able to earn materials to craft a Geralt Full Armor set and the Witcher’s Silver Sword. Players can also acquire special items, a unique gesture, a new guild card background, and exclusive poses and titles by completing Geralt’s quest line. In addition, from May 17th until May 30th, hunters HR50 and above will also be able to participate in a special event quest where they can acquire materials to craft a Ciri Full Armor set and the “Zireae” dual blades.
