Amazon Drops New Trailers for New World: Aeternum Ahead of October 15 Launch
Amazon Games is turning up the hype for New World: Aeternum, rolling out a parade of new trailers ahead of the MMORPG’s global launch on October 15th. The new footage offers a deep dive into the reimagined world of Aeternum, showcasing not only the stunning environments but also the high-stakes action that awaits players on the titular supernatural island.
New World: Aeternum is a fresh take on Amazon’s New World, which launched back in September 2021. After a rocky start that saw server overloads and content droughts the game is rebooted later this month for a more a refined experience. This new version introduces cross-platform gameplay for the first time, allowing players on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S to explore the treacherous island and tackle its challenges together.
Like in the original game, you’ll start as a shipwrecked adventurer, stranded on an island filled with ancient magic, dangerous creatures, and valuable resources. The game offers a blend of PvE and PvP gameplay, with players joining one of three factions battling for control over Aeternum’s resources. Whether you’re fending off corrupted enemies in dungeons or engaging in large-scale PvP wars, there’s no shortage of challenges.
Amazon is clearly banking on New World: Aeternum to relaunch the game in a big way, and the new trailers are packed with teasers of what’s to come.
