Neuronhaze's sci-fi shooter MMORPG Project Genom has been in a Founder's Pack-supported Open Alpha state for a month now. As such, the team have seen fit to reveal some of the alpha's statistics. Over 100,000 mobs were killed in the past month. A collective 5,000 hours have been played by the game's founders with an average of 15 hours per player. The studio lead, Ilya Usanov, was quoted saying that the team did not expect "such big numbers" during the Alpha phase, but that they are "pleasantly surprised" nonetheless.

Looking forward, December will see a number of features added to Project Genom. Resource gathering, crafting, transport and fighting robots will all be added sometime next month. The world's size will increase significantly. Mutations will allow players to "enhance or replace" organs with cybernetic implants, allowing for even more build diversification. Following these updates in January 2016 is the "open world," which is not detailed, but I am assuming means that they will be removing all of the game's loading screens and zoning.

Those interested can still buy into the Alpha on the official website.
