Shroud of the Avatar Launches Yet Another Free Trial

In case you missed the last few free trial periods, Shroud of the Avatar is running yet another free trial (their 5th) which runs from August 9th - August 30th. As with previous Shroud free trials, non paying users do face some restrictions but can still get a good idea about what the game is all about. Shroud of the Avatar is a fantasy MMORPG developed by Portalrium, a studio founded by industry veteran Richard Gariott who created the Ultima franchise and one of the first MMORPGs ever - Ultima Online.

While Shroud is a unique experience, the user interface and overall presentation make it a tough game to approach for new players. Though there is a lot of depth for those willing to stick around. The game is available on Windows, Mac, and Linux.
