Shroud Of The Avatar Looks Back At 2022 And Unveils This Year’s Content Lineup

The past month has been filled to the brim with development roadmaps from various MMO studios, and what better way to end the January than with another roadmap, this time from Catnip Games and its still in-development MMORPG, Shroud of the Avatar.

The development roadmap opens with a retrospective look at some of the highlights of 2022, both the good and the bad, including content updates for Episode 2 and October’s big rollback that saw the loss of months of progress.

This year, Catnip plans to add new tutorial scenes to help guide new players through the community-driven MMORPG’s mechanics, implement an in-game information codex, release more Episode 2 content, add new treasure maps, and improve player housing.

Meanwhile, Release 101 is now live with new craftable lava fishing trophies, new recipes, a new player town called Solaris, and various zone tweaks. You can check out the full development roadmap on the Shroud of the Avatar official forums.
