Black Desert Online CBT2 Starts February 18th, Standalone Character Creator Released

After a long period of silence on the matter following the last Closed Beta, Daum Games Europe has announced that Black Desert Online Closed Beta Test 2 will begin February 18th. All players who bought in at the $50 Explorer Founder's Pack tier or higher will have access to this test. Specific details, such as end date and improvements made, have yet to be revealed.

Additionally, like The Sims4 and Spore before it, Black Desert Online's character creator has been released as a standalone application. It can be downloaded by anyone here now. The characters made in the editor can be imported into the second Closed Beta or the final game when available.

A contest is being held to celebrate the release of the character creator. You are tasked with creating a "beast" character and uploading a screenshot of it. The best beasts will be awarded various prizes, such as Closed Beta Test 2 access, cash shop currency, t-shirts, and even a figurine.
