PAX West Is Returning To An In-Person Event In Seattle This September
PAX event organizer ReedPop has confirmed that PAX West will be returning to Seattle this year as an in-person event despite the COVID-19 breakout at PAX East 2022 last month which resulted in at least one death. Attendees will be required to show proof of completed COVID vaccination and will need to adhere to a strict mask requirement.
“We implore all attendees of PAX West and PAX Unplugged to follow all health and safety requirements at the shows,” said Penny Arcade Co-Founder Jerry Holkins in the official press release. “We’d also ask everyone to take all necessary precautions when outside the event–mask up in indoor settings, get tested alongside any travel or lodging partners, greet friends with elbow bumps or a wave, and please consult your doctor if you are at increased risk for illness or experience any symptoms.”
PAX West 2022 will be held at the Seattle Convention Center and will run from September 2-5. As with previous PAX conventions, attendees can expect to see developers and vendors showcase their wares during the four-day event as well as the appearance of various personalities. Tickets go on sale starting on June 16th at $62 for daily badges for each day of the event and $235 for four-day access.
