Perfect World Is Resurrecting Jade Dynasty As Jade Dynasty World
Perfect World is resurrecting Jade Dynasty as an Unreal Engine 4-powered open-world MMORPG called Jade Dynasty World, four years after it shut down. The game is currently in the early stages of development with a pre-alpha tech test scheduled for August 19th.
Unfortunately, that test is going to be in Chinese although it looks like anyone can sign-up for it through the official website by scanning a QR code. The website is also in Chinese but you can probably find a way around that if you’re interested in joining the upcoming playtest.
It’s still unclear when or if we’ll see a global launch, but in the meantime, you can catch a glimpse of the reboot’s stunning visuals and Wuxia-inspired combat in the video below, courtesy of 2LB Wuxia Gamer.
