Against All Odds: Return Of The Marauder

Mecha Warfare MMO, MechWarrior Online, has announced the return of the classic Marauder mech. Due to legal issues in 1996, iconic mechs like the Marauder have not made a re-appearance for nearly two decades (much to my dismay). Many of the older mech designs have been held in copyright by Harmony Gold which could be seen in Super Dimension Fortress Macross. You can see in the picture below, the Marauder very much resembles the Pod Glaug from Macross.

After all this time, MechWarrior Online is finally re-releasing classic models such as the Marauder and comes with its classic laser-heavy loadout. One variants even sports the iconic hard hitter of the energy weapons category: The ER PPC. The Marauder ships on the 1st of December and comes in $20 and $40 Collectors Edition flavors. The CE includes a custom patterned MAD-3R(S) variant, which you can see in the picture above.
